Programming Philosophy

The WCell-Team is trying to utilize Continuous Integration as a mature and professional approach to solving all kinds of problems that every single developer has to cope with.
We welcome every developer who is interested into clean code, as well as advanced Programming Design patterns, to take a look at our code and give feedback in form of constructive criticism.

History and Future

WCell started development in February 2007 and was open-source from the beginning and is looking into a bright future that foresees a very powerful and easily extendable WoW emulator within 2008.

The Team

Current Project Manager: Domi
Main developers: Domi, Ralek, Meshok

The rest of the team is not listed here due to constant changes. You can always find an up2date list at our Project page.
Every developer who is/was involved in the coding of a certain release, will be mentioned and given credit to in the release credits.

Wanted

WCell is interested into everyone who is interested into WCell. If you are such a person, feel free to get in contact with the WCell team. We mostly need developers who help coding and other people who add information to our Wiki in English, as well as other languages.
At the current stage of development, the team has a lot of tasks with a lot of different requirements and difficulty levels. Every developer who is new to the project can submit code in form of code-files or Patches which will be looked through by the more experienced developers who again make sure that the code is of good enough quality and can point out weaknesses\parts that need corrections. This way every developer has the opportunity to learn a new thing or two with everything that he/she submits.
Everyone who has prooven to be trustworthy and useful to the development process will receive SVN access to commit their changes themselves. The experienced developers will still read and evaluate his\her code until it can be assured that the produced code is of the highest possible quality.
